Job Description

MR Technologist About Nudge At Nudge, our mission is to develop the best technology for interfacing with the brain to improve people's lives. We're starting with an approach that we believe can help the most people the fastest, and also allow us to learn as much about the brain as possible: developing a non-invasive, ultrasound-based device that can stimulate and image the brain at high resolution and depth. This is a vertically integrated effort building cutting-edge hardware, software, and research capabilities to create products that can benefit millions — and eventually billions — of people. To succeed, we need to assemble world-class teams across everything we do. We hire people who are exceptional at their craft, believe hard things are worth doing, and execute relentlessly — people who expect the highest levels of both rigor and integrity from each other. About the role As an MR technologist at Nudge, you will: - Own day-to-day MRI operations, including scanning, participant workflow, and overall scanner readiness - Develop and continuously refine advanced neuroimaging protocols in close collaboration with MR physicists, engineers, and researchers - Help bring up and manage two state-of-the-art Siemens Cima.X MRI scanners, including coordination of maintenance, QA, and vendor interactions - Support the development and validation of novel neuroimaging approaches through complex, evolving neuromodulation research studies - Maintain the highest standards of MRI safety, image quality, and operational excellence in a fast-paced R&D environment About you We are looking for technologists of all levels, with a preference for at least 5+ years of professional experience. Regardless of your career level, you should have: - Strong clinical MRI fundamentals and the ability to independently operate MRI systems with high reliability - ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent MRI training/experience - Experience executing complex or non-standard neuroimaging protocols (ideally in research or clinical settings) - A high level of ownership — you proactively manage scanner operations, troubleshoot issues, and improve workflows over time - Comfort working cross-functionally with engineers, physicists, and clinical/research teams - A strong commitment to MRI safety, attention to detail, and clear communication in participant-facing settings - High integrity and strong professional judgement
