Strategic Partnerships Associate
Profound is on a mission to help companies understand and control their AI presence. As a Strategic Partnerships Associate, you will play a key role in building and scaling the partnerships that accelerate Profound’s position as the definitive platform for AI search optimization.
Working closely with the Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will support execution across the full partnership lifecycle, from research and outreach to activation and ongoing relationship management. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to operate at the intersection of product, go-to-market, and ecosystem development.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Identify, prioritize, and support execution of strategic partnerships across AI platforms and marketing technology or B2B software companies
- Support outreach and early-stage engagement with prospective partners including venture and private equity networks, co-selling partners, and AI platform companies
- Assist in evaluating, structuring, and executing partnership agreements
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, and Sales to drive partnerships and integrations from concept through launch
- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for a defined set of partners, supporting QBRs and ongoing relationship management
- Support joint marketing initiatives, co-selling motions, and customer enablement programs
- Collaborate internally on partnership announcements, case studies, and thought leadership content
- Build and maintain landscape maps of the AI ecosystem and stay ahead of platform changes, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics
WHO YOU ARE
- 1 or more years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, investor relations, or value creation roles within investing firms
- Strong understanding of the AI landscape including LLM providers, AI platforms, search technologies, and the broader application layer
- Independent thinker with high standards, a bias for action, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Clear and confident communicator with the ability to represent Profound credibly with external partners
- Builder mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity and figuring things out quickly
- Experience in a high-growth startup or fast-paced environment is a plus
- Understanding of SEO, content marketing, or brand management is a plus
LOCATION
This is an on-site role based in our Union Square, NYC office, designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and meaningful impact.
For this role, the expected base salary range is $115,000 to $160,000. Profound’s total compensation package is designed to be competitive and includes base salary, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks. Final compensation will depend on factors such as your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will be determined during the interview process.
