We are a talent obsessed studio and this position is central to Terrarium's overall strategy. THE OPPORTUNITY As an EIR at Terrarium you will partner with our team to validate a high conviction thesis, pressure test GTM and unit economics, build the early product path, and recruit the first teammates. You will use our research stack, customer network, and capital pathway to turn insight into a venture-backable company. WHAT YOU WILL DO: - Lead a zero-to-one company creation process from problem discovery to a backable plan - Run rapid experiments that validate customer pain, willingness to pay, and repeatable acquisition - Translate insights into a clear product spec and near-term roadmap, then ship an MVP - Build the early operating model including pricing, GTM motion, and success metrics - Engage Terrarium’s provider and payer partners to secure pilots and letters of intent - Recruit and evaluate cofounders and founding hires through Terrarium’s cofounder matching network - Prepare for investment committee with crisp narrative, milestones, and capital plan THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF…. - You have founder energy and bias to action, with a record of building or owning zero-to-one work - You know healthcare systems or health tech and can navigate clinical, regulatory, and data realities - You are commercial by default and comfortable building in market with customers - You write clearly, make decisions with incomplete data, and love fast feedback loops - You enjoy recruiting exceptional people and setting a high performance bar WHAT YOU BRING: - 6 to 12+ years in startups, product, engineering, operations, or new business building - Evidence of shipped product, launched services, or scaled programs that drove revenue or outcomes - Strength in one or more of: product management, full-stack or data engineering, B2B SaaS GTM, healthcare operations, analytics, or marketplace design - Customer research fluency and a metrics mindset - Integrity, resilience, and a collaborative style WHY WE ARE EXCITED ABOUT WE ARE BUILDING: - Structural demand for cost, access, and workforce solutions across provider and payer ecosystems - Readiness for workflow-native software that automates operational drudgery and elevates clinical work - Data liquidity and AI unlocking new products in revenue cycle, care coordination, capacity planning, and patient engagement - Enterprise partnerships that shorten the path from idea to pilot to scaled deployment WHAT YOU GET AT TERRARIUM: - A rigorous research platform with primary insights, market maps, and analyst support - Customer access across health systems, payers, and employer buyers for rapid validation - Co-founder matching and recruiting support to assemble an elite early team - Builder services including product, design, data, and regulatory guidance - A clear funding pathway from pre-seed with milestones for follow-on capital PROGRAM DETAILS: - Commitment: full time. 4 months, full-time with the goal of company formation - Location: New York City hybrid.
