The role We are looking for our first Forward Deployed Engineer to be embedded with RELEX fastest-growing market. You will be the technical face of RELEX Fresh to grocery retailers, combining engineering ability with real customer presence. What we need you to do and be As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will own high-impact AI deployments from pre-sales to production. You will work directly with customers, ensuring our solutions deliver measurable business outcomes. Own customer Proof of Concepts (POCs) end-to-end, from scoping and technical design to validation and measurable ROI Manage multiple parallel pilots, ensuring clear timelines, stakeholder alignment, and strong conversion to long-term partnerships Partner closely with Sales to translate business needs into technical solutions and support deal closing Collaborate with Engineers to deliver production-ready AI Deploy machine learning applications (forecasting, optimization, automated decision-making) into live customer environments What you’ll bring to the table Deep Engineering experience in a related field Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals and proven experience deploying machine learning or AI solutions into production environments Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern data stacks Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate technical work into measurable financial impact as well as to communicate it Comfortable managing ambiguity and taking full ownership of outcomes Comfortable with using AI in your everyday work and developing the use of AI tools as a larger organizational strategy RELEX key benefits Flexibility in how and where you work Room to thrive in a fast-growing global company with a good market position Practical benefits that support work, family, wellness, and everyday life Annual leave Diverse, inclusive, and supportive work culture Work that meaningfully reduces waste and improves sustainability Ownership, autonomy and flat hierarchies Two paid volunteering days each year We are a global community of different cultures, voices, and experiences.
