Sr Analyst - Employment Tax

Job Requisition ID # 26WD96760 Position Overview Autodesk is seeking a Payroll/Employment Tax Senior Analyst to join our team. This position will report to our Employment Tax Senior Manager based in Dublin, Ireland. You will be embedded virtually with our global payroll and stock team and be a member of a worldwide finance organization that strives to be best-in-class. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the payroll team on all aspects of payroll/employment tax analysis and compliance with a particular focus on APAC region. This role will partner closely with many stakeholders (mobility, HR, tax, employment law, accounting, and others). The employment tax team is looking for a strong performer who is able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment. The ability to be flexible and to grow as a payroll tax professional is critical to the success of this person.  This includes keeping an open mind to innovative ways, to challenge status quo to seek continuous improvement. This job requires execution of the below responsibilities with ownership and accountability. Roles and Responsibilities Act as an advisor to the payroll operations team and other stakeholders for all payroll tax related matters Operate as a subject matter expert on the payroll tax treatment of compensation & benefits, including equity in compliance with global payroll guidance with a particular focus on our APAC countries Assist in leading various payroll and employment tax projects such as taxability reviews for Total Rewards programs, M&A transactions, and impacts to Global Mobility and remote work Prepare estimated payroll tax calculations Work with the payroll and stock administration teams to analyse, optimize and automate existing payroll and equity tax compliance processes to ensure payroll/stock are being processed correctly Support payroll tax and social security audits Perform tax research and propose recommendations based on findings Other special projects as they arise Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s/master’s degree or Professional Qualification in Tax, Accounting or Law 5 to 8 years PQE payroll/employment tax experience, preferably across several APAC countries Good knowledge of payroll tax treatment of a variety of employee benefits and expenses across APAC region Experience with multinational companies a must, technology industry a plus Working experience managing tax authority payroll audits Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently, self-starter and results-oriented Proven ability to influence others, build consensus, and resolve conflicts Detailed oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, organized and thorough with desire for continuous improvement and growth with a focus on automation Strong excel skills a must and experience with Airtable and Alteryx is a plus Big 4 training a plus #LI-AK1 Learn More About Autodesk Welcome to Autodesk!
