Credit Karma has grown significantly through the years: we now have more than 1,700 employees across our offices in Oakland, Charlotte, Culver City, San Diego, London, Bangalore, and New York City.</p> <p>*Banking services provided by MVB Bank, Inc., Member FDIC</p></div><p><strong>Senior Partnership Analyst II (Credit Cards)</strong></p> <p>Data and analytics play a pivotal role in Credit Karma’s mission and every part of our business – informing new product design, driving marketing efficiency, and powering the recommendations we personalize to each of our over 140 million members.</p> <p>We’re seeking a driven, results­-oriented, problem solver to join the Partnerships Analytics team supporting the Credit Cards vertical. In this role, you will use your analytical and strategic experience to create data-driven business recommendations that drive key decisions or deepen relations with our partners (startup fintechs to the largest financial institutions in the world). This role has high­ visibility and will contribute meaningfully to Credit Karma’s growth in delivering value for our members and partners.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Leverage internal and external data to develop business recommendations that generate value for Credit Karma and its lending partners</li> <li>Own performance analytics for a portfolio of Credit Card issuers, identifying opportunities to improve funnel performance, expand revenue, and enhance member outcomes</li> <li>Analyze tradeline, partner, and member-level data to evaluate credit performance trends, surface emerging risks, and identify opportunities for portfolio growth</li> <li>Collaborate with Business Development to build data-driven materials for quarterly and ad hoc business reviews, shaping executive-ready narratives around performance, risk, and forward-looking growth strategies</li> <li>Design and maintain scalable reporting solutions in Tableau (or similar BI tools), delivering timely, decision-ready insights to both internal stakeholders and external partners</li> <li>Unlike some analytics functions, you are not a service provider. You’re a thought leader to the business, owning end-to-end analytic work streams, defining success and performance metrics, and delivering actionable insights and recommendations for cross functional groups and partners</li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Basic Requirement:</strong></p> <ul> <li>4-6 years of analytics experience and BS/MS in Math, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, or Finance</li> <li>Strong SQL proficiency with the ability to independently extract, manipulate and analyze large datasets</li> <li>Demonstrated experience translating complex analysis into clear, actionable business recommendations for non-technical stakeholders</li> <li>Solid understanding of statistical concepts and experience applying them to business problems</li> <li>Build analytical frameworks to evaluate partner performance, marketplace dynamics, and portfolio health.</li> <li>Utilize tradeline and partner data alongside data science models to build scalable solutions for managing credit risk</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strategic or analytical experience within fintech, financial services, or consulting, with a strong preference for candidates possessing deep expertise in consumer lending and credit risk </li> <li>Experience building dashboard and performance reporting in Tableau, Looker or similar BI tools</li> <li>Ex ...
