Head of Supply Chain

Remora is seeking a Head of Supply Chain to lead and scale supply chain and manufacturing as we move from RD to production of complex industrial hardware. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with manufacturing experience in industrial equipment (e.g., heat exchangers, blowers, skids). You will lead strategic sourcing, own all aspect s of supplier relationships, partner with leadership to manage risk and cashflows, and build a strategy to deliver on time and under budget for Remora’s aggressive deployment schedule. We're building modular carbon capture systems for vehicles — turning exhaust into beverage-grade CO2 sold to breweries and greenhouses. We deploy in regions facing severe CO2 shortages, where prices are highest, allowing us to generate high margins without tax credits or carbon credits. We've signed up some of the largest companies in the world to pilot our technology, including iconic multibillion-dollar brands, top trucking companies, and some of the most recognizable Fortune 100 companies. We’ve raised multiple rounds of funding from top investors like Lowercarbon Capital, Union Square Ventures, First Round Capital, Y Combinator, and Valor Equity Partners. Responsibilities: Lead strategic sourcing of components, fabrication, and contract manufacturing. Own supplier relationships from RFQ through qualification, contract negotiation, factory acceptance testing, and on-time delivery. Negotiate agreements with suppliers to achieve the strongest pricing, lead times, payment terms, risk allocation, and downside protection. Build long-term partnerships with suppliers to support Remora’s rapid growth. Build a strategy to scale supply chain and manufacturing to meet Remora’s ambitious deployment schedule, including make vs. buy, dual sourcing, etc. Develop and implement scalable processes for shipping and receiving, inventory tracking, and quality management. Optimize delivery timing and payment terms to improve capital efficiency and ROIC. Partner with Engineering, Finance, and Legal on DFM, cost, and contracts. Requirements: 10+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or manufacturing operations, preferably in mid-sized or rapidly scaling industrial companies Proven experience working with industrial process equipment or hardware systems (e.g., heat exchangers, blowers, skids, electromechanical assemblies) Expertise in supplier sourcing, qualification, procurement, and contract negotiation Strong project management and planning capabilities with a track record of complex, ambitious projects delivered on time and under budget Here’s what we value: Mission First: We are laser-focused on our mission.
