Physician at ConvenientMD serve as a clinical leader, mentor, and supervising provider, ensuring exceptional patient care, supporting Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and helping to maintain the highest standards of clinical excellence and compliance.</p> <p>This role is ideal for a physician who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, values mentorship, and is passionate about delivering accessible, high-quality care to the communities we serve.</p> <h3><strong>Your Impact </strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Deliver Exceptional Patient-Centered Care</strong> <ul> <li>Perform comprehensive evaluations including history, physical examination, and medical decision-making.</li> <li>Diagnose and manage acute illness and injury across the urgent care spectrum.</li> <li>Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic testing (e.g., x-rays, EKGs, laboratory studies).</li> <li>Perform in-office procedures including wound repair, incision and drainage, splinting, joint injections, and other urgent care procedures.</li> <li>Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans aligned with current clinical standards and best practices.</li> <li>Ensure efficient, high-quality, and compassionate patient experiences.</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Serve as Registered Supervising Physician</strong> <ul> <li>Provide physician oversight in accordance with state regulations and governing board requirements.</li> <li>Collaborate with and supervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.</li> <li>Be available for clinical consultation as required by law and company policy.</li> <li>Participate in chart review and quality assurance processes as applicable.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with all supervisory agreements and documentation standards.</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Clinical Leadership Mentorship</strong> <ul> <li>Act as the clinical leader within the clinic, especially in the absence of the Practice Manager.</li> <li>Mentor and support new-graduate and experienced APPs.</li> <li>Serve as a clinical resource for nursing and allied health staff.</li> <li>Promote a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.</li> <li>Participate in onboarding, training, and ongoing education initiatives.</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Documentation Compliance</strong> <ul> <li>Maintain complete, accurate, and timely medical documentation in the EMR.</li> <li>Ensure adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and applicable federal and state regulations.</li> <li>Uphold infection-control standards and clinic safety protocols.</li> <li>Stay current on evolving legislation, clinical guidelines, and professional standards.</li> <li>Support quality improvement initiatives and risk management efforts.</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Collaborative Care</strong> <ul> <li>Work closely with clinic staff to ensure coordinated, thoughtfu ...
