Our product involves a networked cluster of embedded systems providing compute resources, wireless communication, and wired networking on a custom hardware platform. The ideal candidate should have broad experience with a background in the Yocto project, linux systems, wireless communication systems, networking, computer architecture, and hardware devices; along with a strong understanding of real-time operating systems and proficient coding skills in C++ and Python.</p> <h4><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Maintain Yocto-project-based embedded linux system for a custom hardware</li> <li>Write applications and drivers for embedded devices, working on embedded Linux systems systems.</li> <li>Contribute to debugging and resolving issues during customer deployment.</li> <li>Take ownership of software modules and demonstrate responsibility for their development.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with team members from various engineering disciplines, participating in all stages of the engineering process, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing.</li> <li>Implement algorithms in RFID and other protocols on a real-time embedded processor.</li> </ul> <h3>ABOUT YOU</h3> <h4><strong>Required</strong>:</h4> <ul> <li>You have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.</li> <li>You have 5+ years of experience in embedded software engineering.</li> <li>You are proficient in C and C++, very familiar with Python.</li> <li>You have extensive, hands-on experience working with the Yocto project. </li> <li>You have a strong understanding of real-time operating systems, computer architecture, networking, and wireless communication systems.</li> <li>You have a deep background in access controls, system software for working with memory management, debug t ...
