Together, we will change the future of energy, because the world can't wait.What You Will Be Doing:You will lead the development of high-voltage circuit designs and hardware systems for Helion’s fusion devices. Your primary responsibility will be to grow and lead a high-performing electrical engineering team by providing mentorship, modeling technical excellence, and driving execution speed. You will solve complex engineering challenges that directly impact machine performance and help deliver clean, low-cost, reliable electricity to the world. You will report to the Senior Manager of Electrical Engineering and this is an onsite role located at our Everett, WA office.You Will:Grow and mentor a team of multidisciplinary electrical engineersOversee design of machine architecture, pulsed power circuits, grid-interfacing systems, and circuit modeling including plasma couplingDrive schedule ownership and optimization across the team to accelerate milestone achievementLead design, analysis, and process improvements to increase engineering throughputCollaborate with Research, Mechanical, and Production teams to derive system requirements and meet program goalsRequired Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline7+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ years in a technical leadership or management roleProven ability to grow engineers and positively impact their career progressionExperience leading multidisciplinary teams with full project ownershipDemonstrated success managing complex engineering projects with schedule accountabilityHands-on experience across multiple engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and manufacturingAbility to apply first-principles thinking to solve complex technical problems#LI-Onsite #LI-KL1BenefitsOur total compensation package includes benefits, including but not limited to:• Medical, Dental, and Vision plans for employees and their families • 31 Days of PTO (21 vacation days and 10 sick days) • 10 Paid holidays, plus company-wide winter break • Up to 5% employer 401(k) match • Short term disability, long term disability, and life insurance • Paid parental leave and support (up to 16 weeks) • Annual wellness stipendHelion is an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
