Our vision is to allow people to capitalize on their opinions and hedge risks that relate to their everyday lives, from “Will CPI rise more than 0.5% this month?” to “Will 2023 be the hottest year on record?”</p> <p>We're on a long journey in uncharted territories and are looking for passionate and outlier members excited to embark on this voyage toward building the future of the financial system.</p> <h2><strong>Role Roadmap</strong></h2> <p>Kalshi is seeking a strategic and data-driven <strong data-start="46" data-end="57">TV Lead</strong> to own our national and streaming television strategy end-to-end. This individual will plan, buy, and optimize campaigns across linear and connected TV, balancing creative storytelling with performance rigor. They will negotiate directly with networks and platforms, manage agency and vendor relationships, and use data to continually refine spend efficiency and impact. The ideal candidate combines media expertise with an entrepreneurial mindset, helping position Kalshi as a category-defining brand through smart, measurable TV investment.</p> <h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2> <h3><strong>Media Strategy Buying</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Develop, execute, and optimize Kalshi’s TV buying strategy across national and local markets</li> <li>Plan and manage media buys across linear TV, CTV/OTT, and emerging video platforms to drive efficient customer acquisition</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Market Audience Analysis</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Analyze audience data, ratings, reach/frequency, and performance metrics to inform smart buying decisions</li> <li>Identify high-value placements and inventory opportunities based on audience behavior and Kalshi’s target customer segments</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Campaign Execution Optimization</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Own end-to-end campaign execution: forecasting, negotiating rates, securing inventory, trafficking spots, and ensuring accurate delivery</li> <li>Monitor pacing and performance in real time; quickly adjust flighting, placements, and spend to maximize ROI</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Vendor Network Relationships</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Build and maintain strong relationships with networks, stations, DSPs, and media partners</li> <li>Negotiate rates, added value, and make goods to ensure Kalshi receives premium placement and maximum efficiency</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Partner closely with Growth, Analytics, Creative, and Product Marketing to ensure TV strategy aligns with broader acquisition goals</li> <li>Work with analytics teams to interpret results and translate insights into actionable next-steps</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Performance Reporting Insights</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Develop detailed post-buy analyses, performance reports, and recommendations for future cycles</li> <li>Translate campaign performance into clear insights for senior leadership</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Budget Management</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Own TV/media budgets—forecasting, allocating, and managing spend across channels and timeframes</li> <li>Ensure campaigns deliver within budget while meeting efficiency targets</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Testing Innovation</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Design and run structured tests across networks, formats, audience segments, and dayparts to expand Kalshi’s playbook</li> <li>Stay ahead of trends in TV and CTV buying, measurement, attribution, and marketplace shifts</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Qualifications</strong></h2> <ul> <li>5–10+ years of experience in TV/media buying (linear + CTV/OTT), ideally in a performance-driven environment</li> <li>Strong understanding of media math, TV measurement, and attribution (e.g., MMM, MTA, incrementality)</li> <li>Demonstrated abilit ...
