In this role you will ideate and deliver brokerage features while closely collaborating with engineering, analytics, design, partnerships and many other cross-functional teams across Alpaca.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Things You Get To Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own brokerage products</li> <li>Write product requirements and work with engineers to execute programs</li> <li>Drive brokerage product strategy by analyzing ROI, market competition, and build-vs-buy scenarios</li> <li>Improve the brokerage operation efficiency by providing solutions and owning the metrics</li> <li>Contribute to the product roadmap and product strategy</li> <li>Lead customer calls around brokerage process and product issues to gain insights and reduce them to products</li> <li>Participate in calls with external regulators to drive the product strategy and execution</li> <li>Report timely and accurately on product status and results to internal and external stakeholders</li> <li>Ad hoc duties and projects as assigned</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Who You Are (Must-Haves):</strong></p> <ul> <li>Excited about what Alpaca is building </li> <li>Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent</li> <li>5+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, and/or starting a startup </li> <li>Demonstrated interest in Brokerage and FinTech</li> <li>Experience analyzing data using SQL and a relevant BI tool</li> <li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and collaboration skills</li> <li>Business acumen to understand tradeoffs between stakeholders and technology feasibility with time and budget constraints</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> <strong>Who You Might Be</strong> (<strong>Nice-to-Haves): </strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience and background working on and developing Brokerage products is ...
