With this continued growth, Onebrief is able to make an impact where it matters most.Role OverviewThis is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution for Onebrief’s core application. You will oversee and coordinate our persona-based teams (Commander, Collaborator, and Creator), as well as any emerging front-end focused teams, ensuring seamless user experiences, coherent workflows, and consistent product quality across the entire application layer. Candidates who have lived in both worlds – the military environment and high-scale collaboration SaaS (e.g., Google Docs, Microsoft 365/Teams/Loop, Atlassian Confluence, Figma, Miro)-will be especially competitive. This role requires a strong blend of strategic leadership, cross-team orchestration, and hands-on product management expertise, with a focus on high-impact outcomes for diverse end-users in complex, high-stakes environments.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & VisionDefine, communicate, and align team to a unified product vision and strategy for all application teams, aligning their roadmaps to company-level objectives and user needsSet and drive cross-team priorities, ensuring that Commander, Collaborator, and Creator products deliver a seamless, integrated experience for all user personasPartner with executive leadership, platform and AI teams, and other stakeholders to shape the long-term direction of application products, balancing near-term delivery with long-term innovationCross-Team Coordination & OversightLead the coordination of strategic initiatives, roadmap planning, and execution across application teams, identifying and resolving cross-team dependencies and bottlenecksEnsure clean integration of application features with shared platform services (e.g., data models, UI libraries, real-time sync), with clear interfaces and reuse of core componentsEstablish and run mechanisms for alignment, such as product councils, shared planning rituals, and transparent decision-making frameworksProduct Excellence & ExecutionSet high standards for UX, quality, reliability, and performance across all application surfacesUse user research, analytics, and feedback loops to inform priorities, guide iteration, and measure impactEnsure that each application team (Commander, Collaborator, Creator) delivers on its charter:Commander: High-fidelity, actionable brief outputs and approval flows tailored for senior decision-makersCreator: Powerful, flexible tools for authoring complex plans and content, enabling rapid iteration and high-quality outputsCollaborator: Robust systems for feedback, tasking, comments, permissions, and provenance, supporting safe and efficient multi-user collaborationStakeholder EngagementChampion the voice of the user, grounded in a deep understanding of customer workflows and mission-critical needsServe as the primary point of contact for application-layer product strategy, representing application team needs and priorities to executive leadership and the broader organizationBuild strong partnerships with engineering, design, customer success, and go-to-market teams to e ...
