Senior User Experience Designer I

Join Collibra’s Product Design Team We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to join our product design team, focusing on designing intuitive and innovative user experiences for a complex data application. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UX design principles, a deep understanding of user-centered design methodologies, and the ability to translate complex data into user-friendly interfaces. Specifically, you’ll be joining a growing product organization working on our enterprise SaaS platform and will help the team ensure that it aligns to our global design patterns and meets both user and business needs. You will ensure user/customer input is gathered, statistically analyzed and used in a manner that facilitates product and software improvement. This is a hybrid role based in our Prague office. Our hybrid model means you’ll work from the office at least two days each week. This setup helps us stay connected, work more closely together, and keep making progress as a team. As a Senior Product Designer on the design team you are responsible for Collaborating with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure design feasibility Developing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively illustrate user flows and functionality. Designing intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for our complex data application. Clearly communicating design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders through presentations and documentation. Conducting user research activities to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Analyzing and interpreting user data from various sources to inform design decisions. Aligning your work with user personas, and creating journey maps to guide design processes. Planning and conducting usability testing sessions to gather user feedback and Iterating on designs based on results. Working closely with the engineering team to ensure designs are accurately implemented. Participating in design reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback. Maintaining and contributing to our design system to ensure consistency across the application. Staying up-to-date with the latest UX trends, techniques, and technologies. Demonstrating proficiency of Collibra’s primary UX tools and methodologies. Articulating customer needs and the Collibra differentiation across assigned platform areas. Managing your workload to meet deadlines, resolving project blockers, and proactively communicating the status of your deliverables to project stakeholders You have Demonstrated understanding of UX design principles and practices, with a portfolio showcasing your ability to deliver valuable and tangible designs which meet business goals. Proficiency in Figma for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups. A portfolio of projects demonstrating high-quality, full-lifecycle, goal-centered interface design work in complex domains for web and desktop applications. Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience contributing to an Agile environment while practicing user-centered design. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira) for task management and collaboration. An increasing understanding of development paradigms and principles, and a willingness to learn how data ingestion/usage impacts UX. 8+ years UX/UI, HCI (aka product design) experience . Familiarity with SaaS sales concepts, data preferred. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required. You must have work authorization to work in Prague, CZ.
