Senior Software Engineer - Stablecoin

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who loves building from scratch, thrives in fast-paced environments, and wants to grow their technical expertise in a high-impact domain. You'll work closely with our Staff Engineer and cross-functional team to bring the stablecoin initiative to life. This is a newly created role on a high-priority project. It's fast-moving, complex, and full of learning opportunities - perfect for someone who enjoys solving hard problems and shipping quality code. What you'll do Build from zero : Contribute to technical discovery and MVP development for SURO, coding daily in Kotlin or Go . Design reliable systems : Help build high-SLA, service-oriented systems that integrate with our ledger, reconciliation, and treasury platforms. Deliver quality : Write clean, tested, maintainable code with a focus on reliability, security, and observability. Collaborate across teams : Work with Product, Finance, Legal, and Banking to deliver features that meet regulatory standards. Grow your skills : Learn from experienced engineers and expand your expertise in payments, compliance, and blockchain technologies. Own features end-to-end : Take ownership of specific components from design through deployment and monitoring. What makes you a great fit 4+ years of backend development experience shipping production software, ideally in payments, PSP, acquiring, or digital wallets . Strong backend expertise in Kotlin or Go , with solid understanding of cloud-native patterns (microservices, event-driven systems, CI/CD). Experience building systems that handle high transaction volumes and meet strict SLAs. A builder's mindset : comfortable with uncertainty, rapid prototyping, and iterating in greenfield environments. Strong collaboration and communication skills : able to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
