To learn more, visit http://www.darktracefederal.com About the Role We are looking for a strategic, mission-driven Director, Field Marketing to lead all go-to-market efforts across U.S. Federal Government. This marketing leader will shape how we position cybersecurity and AI capabilities to civilian, defense, and intelligence agencies – driving thought leadership, awareness, trust and measurable pipeline impact. You will lead the federal marketing strategy end-to-end, partnering closely with Federal sales leaders and Darktrace marketing organization to set clear objectives and execution that align to business priorities. This role requires deep understanding of the federal procurement, compliance frameworks, and the unique expectations for federal CISOs, security teams, and mission owners. You should have demonstrated experience and impact across thought leadership, messaging and positioning, content development and delivery, event execution, partner and disti alignment, and demand generation. Key Responsibilities - What You Will Do to Drive Impact Federal GTM Strategy and Leadership Build and execute the federal marketing strategy across DoD, civilian, and IC. Develop clear, differentiated messaging, positioning, use cases and content that align to mission outcomes, evolving federal cybersecurity mandates, and AI adoption. Must resonate with CISOs and mission owners. Develop and deliver a thought—leadership plan to seed Darktrace speakers and content that shape the narrative in market. Partner closely with Federal Sales, Product, Product Marketing, Marketing, Corporate Affairs to ensure tight alignment on priorities, plays, pipeline goals, and execution to accelerate deals and Darktrace market position. Pipeline & Demand Generation Own pipeline creation and acceleration for the federal segment Build a repeatable, data-driven federal marketing engine that scales. Design and execute targeted programs that address federal use cases, customer needs, procurement cycles, and compliance requirements (e.g. FedRAMP, CMMC, EO 14028) Plan, orchestrate and execute events virtually and in-person to drive Darktrace value and meetings (e.g., RSA Public Sector Day, DoDIIS, AFCEA events, agency-specific ...
