Job Description Checkout.com is seeking a talented Treasury Markets Manager to join our Treasury team, based in London. The successful candidate will be working on the buildout/enhancement and execution of investment and non-FX market risk management capabilities for the firm, with a focus on yield enhancement and interest rate risk. In response to the continued scaling and expansion of Checkout.com in terms of volume, geographic footprint, payment methods, currencies supported, and product diversity, you will be contributing to the implementation of a comprehensive Treasury investment and market risk management framework, monitoring and managing these risks and providing best in class execution. About You 7-10 years Market facing/execution experience with a strong focus on Money Markets, HQLA management, and Cash Management, and demonstrable experience in Interest Rate Risk management. Understanding of Treasury market risks (primarily interest rate, and basic knowledge of FX for hedging and cash flow management). Experience of market risk management frameworks - FX and Interest Rate Demonstrable experience in Asset Liability Management (ALM). Proven ability to measure interest rate risk and duration. Quantitative and analytical skills, including modeling skills, with an eye for yield enhancement and investment opportunities. Strong communication skills and an ability to build and leverage cross-functional relationships. Good understanding of Treasury concepts and how they impact Treasury Markets, including pricing models for yield products (FX and Interest yielding products) Willingness to work with Payments, Analytics, Liquidity teams within Treasury as well as other teams such Accounting, New Projects, and Product teams (e.g., supporting the Checkout Business Account). This will also include working with Regional Treasury teams in APAC, MENA and US. Experience and desire in setting up Treasury investment infrastructure (risk, systems, negotiating with external counterparties). Experience of working through change and implementing new processes. Attention to detail and proactivity are essential. Basic knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including either banking or EMI/PI regulations. What You Will Be Doing Support in all aspects of the day to day monitoring, analysis and management of the legal entities and regional Treasury market risks, primarily focusing on Interest Rate Risk and the effective management of the investment portfolio (Money Markets and HQLA). Implement and execute Cash deployment, HQLA portfolio management, and Money Market transactions, ensuring execution within structural limits and as per parameters outlined by Treasury mandates, with a focus on maximising risk-adjusted returns (yield enhancement).
