Join us to build the digital economy of tomorrow. About the team: The Payment Performance Team This role sits specifically in our Payment Performance team. Our focus is making payments have a higher probability of succeeding when they come through us, thus ensuring higher revenues for all of our merchants. In order to achieve this, we need to maximize conversion rates and minimize fraud rates - by leveraging ML and smart rules as well as an experiment-driven approach to ensure gradual improvements. You will be working with MLEs, back-end engineers, front-end engineers and data scientists in order to innovate and keep Checkout as a best-in-class provider. We're looking for Software engineers who bring fresh ideas, have a curious nature and are passionate about working in an Engineering environment which focuses on building products to achieve the company's strategic goals. You’ll get to work with teams from across Checkout.com’s portfolio of products and services who all have a real customer first philosophy. We need our engineers to be versatile and be enthusiastic to take on new problems as we continue to push technology forward. With your technical expertise you will lead project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions. What are we looking for: We are specifically looking for Software Engineers who are proficient in Go . Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Expert proficiency in Go with a strong understanding of software development principles in a backend environment. Great communication skills and ability to interact effectively with a wide range of stakeholders Experience working in agile environments and delivering high-quality code within tight deadlines Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team Someone who is AI proficient or AI curious, you will be hungry to embrace what the latest technology has to offer to enhance yours and your teams productivity Payments or financial knowledge is a plus, but not a necess ...
