About the role: We are seeking a results-driven Principal Business Development Executive to join our Partner Sales Organization . You will own and grow large partner accounts, driving revenue through strong relationships, strategic planning, and disciplined execution. You will engage directly with senior decision-makers, position our technology portfolio and value proposition, shape new GTM models and commercials, negotiate business terms, and oversee reporting, invoicing, and partner satisfaction. This role is highly cross-functional, working closely with Product Management, Finance, Legal, and Marketing at Gen and within partner organizations. Key Responsibilities : Own and grow assigned large partner accounts with clear account plans to meet or exceed sales targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, with a focus on executive-level engagement. Develop and execute joint programs and promotions with partners, ensuring expected value and performance. Monitor account performance, report regularly to senior leadership, and adjust tactics to align with strategic goals. Provide partner and market input into product roadmaps to ensure we meet partner and market needs. Track industry trends, competitor activity, market intelligence and share insights with internal teams. Maintain accurate account plans, pipeline, and activity records in CRM tools. What you will need to be Successful: 5–10 years of experience in sales or relationship management, preferably managing large accounts or partners in a B2B2C model. Demonstrated ability to work independently and own end-to-end business opportunities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset. Proven track record of executing strategies and delivering measurable results. Solid financial acumen and ability to use key financial indicators in decision-making. Experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office. Ability to prioritize, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
