We specialize in retrofit and tenant improvement work, partnering with customers to deliver high-quality solutions with speed, precision, and reliability. About the Role We’re looking for a Junior Estimator (Project Developer) to support our estimating team by helping price and scope smaller HVAC projects while learning the trade from experienced professionals. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for someone who is detail-oriented, strong on computers, and interested in building a long-term career in mechanical construction. You’ll get hands-on exposure to plans, takeoffs, pricing, and real project strategy — not just admin work. What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities) · Assist estimators/project developers with takeoffs and bid preparation · Review drawings, specs, and project documents to understand scope · Perform quantity takeoffs for HVAC systems (duct, equipment, piping, etc.) · Help price smaller jobs and service/retrofit opportunities · Solicit and track vendor and subcontractor quotes · Organize bid documents and maintain accurate estimate files · Support multiple bids at once in a fast-paced environment · Learn estimating processes, systems, and HVAC fundamentals What We’re Looking For (Qualifications) · 0–2+ years of experience (construction or estimating exposure is a plus, not required) · Strong computer skills (Excel, PDFs, takeoff software is a plus) · Detail-oriented with strong organization and follow-through · Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities · Interest in construction, HVAC, or the trades · Strong communication skills and willingness to ask questions Why This Role · Hands-on training from experienced estimators · Clear path into Estimator / Project Developer role · Exposure to real projects early in your career · Opportunity to grow with a busy, expanding team · Stable pipeline of work in commercial HVAC retrofit Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered and forms of compensation that may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
