Meet the Team The team represents a diverse set of engineers covering multiple business units and roles.  The engineers on the team each support a specific business unit as either a Test Development Engineer or a Hardware Engineer. The team currently has nine engineers with a wide variety of different skill sets. Up until this point each member of this team has reported back to a functional manager outside of Mexico, this leader will bring them together under one team. Your Impact This leader will serve as the local leader for all Product Ops Core technical talent within Mexico (Both Juarez and Guadalajara).  The role will include growing the careers of the engineers, working on development plans, cross-sharing best practicestice, load balancing the overall workload of all NPI in Mexico, and serving as the local cultural leader for activities, celebrations and events.  The leader will work closely with the functional managers for each BU and stay up to speed on the needs of each business unit.  The leader will stay up to date on manufacturing technologies and drive consistency between factories and business units. The leader will drive consistent factory presence habits for Product Ops Core during periods of critical need. Minimum Qualifications Degree in Engineering or Computer Science 10 years of experience in electronics design, engineering and manufacturing Experience in leading teams English language proficient Preferred Qualifications Experience in growing teams’ careers and skills Influencing others Working in a matrixed leadership model Balancing conflicting priorities in high stakes NPI Staying calm when dealing with difficult people Why Cisco?
