Designs and implements elegant, scalable and performant features and components in a team-oriented environment Delivers high quality, well thought-out features that keep Workday's application developers in mind Collaborates with team members by white-boarding and working through ideas with constructive recommendations from the rest of the team and vice-versa Shares knowledge via mentoring, reviews and technical discussions Introduces the team to new technologies, frameworks, and points of view Our Tech Stack Java/JUnit XpressO (Workday proprietary) About You Are you passionate about Web APIs? Basic Qualifications 6 years of experience with object-oriented design and programming with Java, including 1 year of REST APIs development experience. 3 years of experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and standard development tools and processes: source control, IDEs, frameworks, JUnit tests, debugging, issue trackers Demonstrated experience delivering projects by leveraging curiosity and collaboration in feature design Proven ability to share knowledge via formal mentoring, reviewing code, reviewing design docs, giving technical talks, teaching classes, or as a project ...
