Junior Finance Analyst CORE RESPONSIBILITIES - Revenue & AR Management: Maintain daily financial ledgers for sales contracts and oversee the invoicing process. Ensure revenue recognition aligns with accounting standards and company protocols. Monitor Receivables (AR) health, track payment progress, and prepare aging reports to help the sales team optimize collection efficiency. - Budget Tracking & Control: Actively monitor budget execution across departments and maintain detailed expense ledgers. Collect business forecasts to assist with monthly/quarterly rolling forecasts. Proactively flag risks of overspending or underutilization to ensure departments stay on track with their budgets. - Operational Data Reporting & Analysis: Perform monthly extraction and reporting of operational data, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of management reports. Conduct variance analysis (Budget vs. Actual) to provide the management team with preliminary financial insights. - Data & Automation Support: Maintain foundational financial data (revenue, budget, and operational metrics) to ensure data structures are stable and accurate. Collaborate with the team to implement financial automation and AI-assisted analysis tools, supporting the data preparation for automated reporting and early-warning systems. - Process Optimization: Support internal and external audits while continuously optimizing the "Order-to-Cash" (OTC) workflow and internal compliance controls. - Additional Support: Assist with other strategic projects within the Finance Department as needed. REQUIREMENTS 1. Location: Shanghai 2. Education: Bachelor’s degree or above; majors in Accounting, Finance, or related fields are preferred. (CPA/ACCA qualification or partial passes is a plus). 3. Professional Background: 1–2 years of audit experience at a reputable accounting firm (Big 4 preferred), or relevant experience in FP&A/Finance. 4. Core Skills: - Data Proficiency: Strong ability to handle large datasets and advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, data cleaning, and basic modeling). - Analytical Mindset: Excellent logical thinking and data sensitivity, with the ability to identify anomalies and conduct root-cause analysis. - Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to support cross-departmental collaboration. - Tech-Forward: A basic understanding of data analysis tools, automation, or the application of AI in finance is highly preferred.
