Middle Office Analyst - OTC Products

Hudson River Trading (HRT) is seeking a Middle Office Analyst focused on OTC products to join our team in Singapore. The Middle Office team at HRT is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the firm’s post-trade platform. We design and operate the systems and processes that reconcile the firm’s global, multi-asset-class trading with our various brokers and counterparties, and we collaborate with multiple teams to research corporate actions, maintain commissions programs, and track all costs incurred by HRT’s trading. Being a member of the Middle Office team at HRT means working on a tight-knit, highly productive team. Due to the high volume of trades we process and the complexity of our systems, we rely heavily on automation and seek candidates who demonstrate exceptional attention to detail. The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about technology, wants to work on a variety of operational projects using whatever tools best solve the problem at hand, and has excellent cross-functional communication skills, along with a can-do attitude. Responsibilities Work closely with HRT’s Post-Trade and Accounting teams to identify and implement improvements to current workflows Document complex processes to develop middle office guidelines Onboard new trading into existing technology and platforms Reconcile daily position, cash, and PnL breaks in coordination with both internal and external parties Research process applicable corporate actions Maintain and update the commission structures across all markets Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Physics, Math, or a related technical discipline 3-5 years of relevant industry experience with a strong focus on options, derivatives trading, ETFs and/or Fixed Income Experience in the maintenance, planning, or construction of Order Management System(OMS)/ Portfolio Management System (PMS)/ Execution Management System (EMS) is preferred Understanding of corporate actions and exposure to the complex commission schedule of various markets Strong domain knowledge of Derivatives, ETFs or Fixed Income products preferred Experience with Python and UNIX operating systems (we use Linux) Familiarity with AI prompting preferred Experience with SQL and relational databases Ability to debug, analyze, and troubleshoot problems quickly under pressure Willingness to take ownership of your work and admit and learn from mistakes Comfort working independently in a fast-paced, high pressure environment Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills Culture Hudson River Trading (HRT) brings a scientific approach to trading financial products.
