Addressing Black representation in the energy industry
At Octopus Energy, our mission is to drive the global renewable revolution and make green energy affordable for all. In order to succeed, we need to build a team that represents everyone in our society. Unfortunately, Black professionals make up < 2% of the energy workforce, which is a significant under-representation compared to the ethnic composition of the UK. To help address this, we have created an internship programme that is only open to candidates who identify with any Black, Black British, African or Caribbean background. We're building out our Customer Success Team in London, and we're looking for superstars with relevant experience to help shape what we deliver and how we deliver it.
You will be the face and the voice of Octopus Electric Vehicles, advising and supporting customers throughout their journey setting up a Salary Sacrifice scheme and in life.
A genuine passion for customer experience and sustainability is a must with a passion for relationship building and the importance of customer service.
What you'll do...
Support a number of accounts and partners all the way from set up through to in-life and renewal across a number of products (focusing initially on salary sacrifice schemes)
Work within the Account Executive and Partnerships team to support the best way to launch partners and schemes for clients that drive engagement and demand from their employees. And then execute these plans.
Support regular review meetings with clients and partners to review and pitch engagement strategies, new products, and services and manage and implement feedback.
Be clear about the value that we are offering our partners and clients and communicate this concisely.
Work closely with our sales, operations and marketing teams to drive client referrals, orders and in-life service delivery.
Support with ongoing projects in the Customer Success and Partnerships space.\
Support on partner enablement activity to drive client partner referrals for the business development team, including working closely with the marketing team on supporting collateral, events and specific campaigns.
Contribute to continuous improvement through reporting and reviewing market and competitor insights to shape future propositions and drive growth
What you'll need...
Proven track record of excellent customer experience
A strong passion for Electric Vehicles / Energy and decarbonisation
Excellent listening and communication skills
A ruthless focus on the customer with a genuine passion for going above and beyond for customers
An ability to show a completer finisher mentality and an understanding of processes as a whole being able to see the why behind each section of the business and how that creates the entire vision
A start-up / entrepreneurial mindset being able to adjust to change and keep up with a fast-moving business
