Senior Revenue Analyst

Job Requisition ID # 26WD96736 Position Overview Autodesk is in the midst of a significant back-office transformation, and we need a motivated individual to assist in this change for Revenue Accounting!  As the Revenue Senior Analyst for this project, you will collaborate closely with your manager, Revenue Accounting, the Controllership, System Integrators, Project Managers, Engineers, and other key stakeholders in the Company.  You will provide guidance to the project team, assist in UAT initiatives, and eventually roll out the exciting system and process changes to the entire Organization. Roles and Responsibilities Attend meetings to discuss and document project requirements as they pertain to U.S. GAAP, with a focus on Revenue Recognition Work closely with your manager to understand operational capabilities and feasibilities of proposals presented Perform UAT as well as track and resolve any issues discovered during UAT Implement and document processes and procedures as required including SOX compliance and internal controls Evaluate accounting implications and confirm we can operationally support operational changes under the provisions of ASC 606 Provide accounting guidance to project team and engineers Support broader team in training efforts and overall transition to the new business models and system flows Minimum Qualifications Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with a focus on revenue recognition Working hours required overlap 7:00am – 11:00 am PST/PDT time zone Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent practical experience 3 years of relevant work experience in Revenue Accounting Excellent business acumen with ability to deal with ambiguity Effective communication skills and ability to understand and present data Ability to work effectively in a team environment across all organizations as well as independently Preferred Qualifications CPA certification (or equivalent) or practical experience Experience working with RAR, SAP, and/or Business Objects or other relevant systems Proficiency in Excel Experience in software or SaaS industry Excellent quantitative, analytical and data mining skills Enthusiastic and creative with the ability to inspire, influence and encourage others, in both relationships with customers and peers #LI-MR2 Learn More About Autodesk Welcome to Autodesk!
