What we’re looking for (qualifications) We are not big on formal qualifications, and we value hands-on skills. We also enjoy working with people who are looking to learn new things and have a sense of responsibility toward their work. Experience: 3- 5 years in software testing, focusing on backend API testing and automation. Technical Proficiency : Strong experience in Java, with knowledge of Javascript/Typescript/Python. Experience with automation tools and frameworks suitable for Slack and MS Teams apps. Understanding of Microservices. API Testing Expertise : Proven ability in testing RESTful and GraphQL APIs, understanding their complexities, and ensuring optimal performance. Automation Skills : Demonstrated ability to develop UI test frameworks and implement CI/CD pipelines, especially for assistant applications and API integrations. Specific experience in automating tests for collaboration assistant applications, particularly for Slack and MS Teams. Problem-Solving Skills : Outstanding analytical abilities, capable of solving intricate problems and proposing effective solutions in a startup environment. Communication and Collaboration : Excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate efficiently within a team and across different departments. Should be familiar with Code editors like Cursor. What you'll do (responsibilities) Test AI Application : Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans for end to end to functionality, backend APIs and conversational interfaces, ensuring functionality and performance align with requirements. Collaboration App Automation : Design and implement robust automation frameworks for testing assistant applications on Slack and MS Teams, focusing on their seamless integration and interaction with web applications. Quality Assurance Leadership : Drive high standards of quality by identifying and implementing effective testing strategies and tools for backend and collaboration app integrations. Strategic Test Planning : Actively participate in design and architecture discussions, aligning test strategies with overall business goals. Continuous Improvement and Innovation : Stay ahead of industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies, particularly for backend APIs and collaboration platform integrations.
