About this role Company: BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. Job Title: Associate Location: 50 Hudson Yards, New York, NY 10001 Job Duties: Calculate investment allocations, PARS/ Investment checklist completion for all funds on the platform and confirm adherence to Allocation Policy. Create and maintain quarterly portfolio reporting for investment teams. Complete pre-trade compliance checks across all portfolios and mandates, including end trade booking in Aladdin. Anticipate and resolve operational issues arising during the evolving investment processes. Assist in liquid hedge fund as needed, booking trades and resolving breaks. Model, monitor and document portfolio allocations, checklist, guideline adherence and coordinate internal approvals. Track fund & investment level deployment and performance metrics. Track liquidity for all private funds, including cash forecasting, borrowing capability, and dry powder. Recommend distributions and capital cans to Senior Core PM. Ensure correct booking of interest payments, repayments of capital, and fee collection from underlying investments and through portfolio structure. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Computer Science, Business, or related field and 24 months of experience in job offered, or closely related role. Requires 2 years of experience in following: Private financial market experience; Oversight functions for credit mandates, including portfolio management overlays, and operational procedures; Microsoft VBA; Leveraged finance, direct lending, closed-ended portfolio management, or structure product; FX trading; Programming in Unix, and SQL; Data validation and performance visualization using Python; Portfolio analysis and risk management workflows using Aladdin; and Data Analytics and Machine Learning. For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$134,000.00 - USD$155,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
