Roblox is seeking a Corporate Development Senior Associate to help drive our inorganic growth strategy. In this role, you will scale our acquisition pipeline by identifying, evaluating, and executing tuck-in acquisitions that accelerate product development and our company’s strategic objectives. You will work closely with internal product and engineering leaders as well as external stakeholders, including founders, VCs, and MA advisors.
You will operate at the intersection of finance, technology, and strategy, partnering closely with Roblox leaders to evaluate and identify high-impact opportunities. This is a high-visibility role for a proactive professional looking to impact a global platform through strategic transactions. Additionally, you will drive efforts to leverage AI tools that can scale the CorpDev function.
You Will:
Partner with product and engineering leaders to identify strategic areas of opportunity.
Lead the identification and screening of potential acquisitions, managing a robust MA pipeline aligned with Roblox’s strategic goals.
Drive initial evaluations and act as a primary point of contact for startups and founders, conducting introductory calls and representing Roblox within the ecosystem.
Drive deal execution across the full transaction lifecycle, including business case development, deal structuring, financial modeling, due diligence, and post-close integration planning.
Build and maintain deep relationships with founders, venture capitalists, and advisors to ensure a consistent flow of high-quality opportunities.
Drive efforts to use AI tools to scale the Corporate Development function.
Report to Director, Corporate Development
You Have:
3-5 years of professional experience across investment banking, private equity, or venture capital.
Proven experience in financial modeling, valuation, business case development, market research, and supporting qualitative and quantitative work throughout the MA lifecycle.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with technical leaders, founders, and external stakeholders.
A proven ability to navigate ambiguity, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a high-growth environment.
A self-starter mentality with the ability to take a project from an initial idea through to a structured evaluation or execution.
A strong interest in leveraging emerging AI technologies to automate and scale business functions.

The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
