Senior Manager, Production Management - Korea

About the Role Netflix is seeking an experienced and inspiring Senior Manager of Production to lead our Korea Production Management team , overseeing series, film, and nonfiction productions. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, able to pivot when necessary, thorough, and able to juggle multiple productions and cross-functional partners across the studio. Based in Korea, this role reports into the Head of Production for Korea and is responsible for driving operational excellence, nurturing high-performing talent, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure the successful delivery of all locally produced titles. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Leadership & Vision Define, Develop and drive a clear vision for production management in Korea that aligns with Netflix’s global standards and business strategy Drive initiatives that elevate Korea’s production capabilities Identify and pursue innovative approaches to advance the local production ecosystem 2. Title Management & Operational Excellence Ensure all productions are delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest creative and operational standards Strengthen title management practices across all production stages, tools, and workflows Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams and external vendors to remove blockers and align on goals 3. Team Leadership & Development Lead and develop a high-performing team  of managers and coordinators Provide clarity on roles, expectations, and development pathways Foster a culture of constructive feedback and a strong collaborative team dynamic Mentor and develop the team, supporting professional growth and cross-functional learning Champion and foster a diverse and inclusive work environment that values a range of backgrounds and perspectives 4. Risk Management & Production Scaling Anticipate and mitigate production-related risks by proactively addressing them in partnership with internal and external stakeholders Drive training and partner development programs to effectively scale Korea’s production capabilities Stay abreast of industry trends and integrate best practices into daily production operations Champion the use of innovative tools and technologies to improve production quality and efficiency Qualifications 13+  years of experience working in content production or a related role in the entertainment industry Proven experience leading a team of studio production Ability to handle a fast-paced environment while simultaneously supervising several projects at various points of production (from development through delivery) Access to a roster of high-quality vendors and talent Understanding of VFX and post-production processes Familiar with the current trends and workflows, including streaming deliverables Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence Proven ability to build and lead teams on a project level, as well as on a corporate level Comfort navigating with ambiguity; independently establishing goals and desired outcomes in alignment with business strategy Strong written and verbal communication skills Conversational English proficiency Inclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates.
