Edelman is seeking a senior Temp Brand Strategy lead at the SVP / Strategy Director level. This role will drive a high-impact B2B enterprise branding initiative, operating with a high degree of independence while partnering with senior client stakeholders and internal teams.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in enterprise brand strategy, strong qualitative research expertise, and a proven ability to translate insights into actionable brand direction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead an end-to-end brand strategy workstream with minimal oversight
Design and conduct up to 30 stakeholder interviews (internal and external), including senior executives, clients, and partners
Synthesize insights into clear strategic implications and opportunities
Develop a competitive brand analysis, including positioning and differentiation
Build a comprehensive Brand Action Report with prioritized recommendations
Advise on evolution of brand narrative, including positioning and messaging frameworks
Develop targeted value propositions for five priority audience segments
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment and applicability
Present insights and recommendations to senior client leadership
Qualifications
10–15 years of experience in brand strategy (agency or consulting preferred)
Demonstrated expertise in B2B enterprise branding
Strong qualitative research and insight development capabilities
Proven ability to independently lead complex strategic engagements
Experience in brand positioning, narrative development, and value proposition design
Strong executive presence and experience presenting to senior stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
