Director, Financial Systems (Anaplan)

Databricks is seeking a Director, Financial Systems (Anaplan) to lead and evolve our FPA Anaplan function. Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate FPA, this role will be responsible for enabling the broader FPA organization through strategic ownership and optimization of the Anaplan platform. You will lead a team of three experienced Anaplan professionals, define and execute a forward-looking systems strategy, and partner closely with the Finance Data Strategy team to unlock the full potential of Anaplan in conjunction with the Databricks platform. The impact you will have: Provide end to end ownership of the Anaplan platform, ensuring reliability, scalability, and alignment with business needs Partner across FPA to define system roadmaps and lead the successful delivery of key initiatives Collaborate with the Sales Operations Anaplan team to ensure alignment and consistency across FPA and Sales Operations models Identify and implement opportunities to standardize processes, improve efficiency, and increase automation within Anaplan Work closely with the Finance Data Strategy team to develop and execute a strategy for integrating Anaplan with the Databricks platform, enabling next generation analytics Partner with Finance stakeholders and system integrators to ensure business continuity and system stability during ERP implementation Collaborate with cross functional teams, including IT and Security, to ensure compliance with internal controls, security standards, and access governance Lead, coach, and develop a high performing team of Anaplan professionals What we look for: Bachelor’s Degree required in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or Management Information Systems 10+ years of experience in Finance / Financial Systems roles, preferably Anaplan Anaplan Certified Solutions Architect or Certified Master Anaplanner, a plus Experience defining systems strategy; developing business and technical requirements; designing and prototyping; testing; training; deployment; and support procedures for Anaplan Functional experience with core finance processes (planning, budgeting, forecasting, costing) Experience assessing and supporting finance system implementations Strong people leadership skills, including experience coaching and developing high performing teams Intellectual curiosity and the ability to solve problems independently Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines Pay Range Transparency Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipates utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
