<h2><strong>ABOUT THE JOB</strong></h2>
<p>The ACLU seeks applicants for the full-time position of <strong>Senior Digital Support Strategist</strong> in the <strong>Communications and Marketing Department</strong> of the ACLU’s National office in <strong>New York, NY.</strong> The purpose of this role is to centralize coordination and collaboration for special projects led by the department. <span data-ccp-props="{"><span class="TextRun SCXW106118647 BCX0" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW106118647 BCX0">This is a <strong>hybrid role </strong>that has in-office requirements of two (2) days per week or eight </span></span><span class="TextRun SCXW106118647 BCX0" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW106118647 BCX0">(8) days per month.</span></span></span><span class="EOP SCXW106118647 BCX0" data-ccp-props="{"> </span></p>
<p>The ACLU Marketing Communications Department creates, maintains, and expands message narratives to engage our supporters and other target audiences, to help protect and expand civil liberties and civil rights, and illustrate the value and impact of the ACLU’s work. Through our messaging, engagement with newsmakers, our written and social content, branding, and visual identity, we encourage support for the ACLU and help to create a more perfect union.</p>
<p><span data-teams="true">This position is part of a collective bargaining unit. It is represented by ACLU Staff United (ASU).</span></p>
<h2><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong> </h2>
<p>Reporting to the <strong>Head of Owned Digital Engagement</strong>, the <strong>Senior Digital Support Strategist </strong>will be responsible for owning the expanding portfolio of work related to our rapid response digital ecosystem.</p>
<p>Working alongside both the Digital Campaigns and Web Strategy teams, the Senior Digital Support Strategist will be an essential strategic thinker, content producer, and backend technologist capable of easing friction during rapid response moments and increasing capacity otherwise.</p>
<p>Working most directly with issue-specific communications and program strategists, this role will be tasked with working with vendors, overseeing digital projects and campaigns, analyzing metrics and providing strategic thought partnership that ladders up to our overall program goals.</p>

<h2><strong>YOUR DAY TO DAY</strong></h2>
<p><em><strong>Digital Strategy</strong></em></p>
<ul>
<li>Partner with the Director of Web Strategy and the PTECH team to develop new tools and content strategies to promote and expand the ACLU’s web presence.
<ul>
<li>This role will specifically own the content and strategy responsibilities related to the new Moments tool.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Partner with the Communications Strategists to identify digital opportunities, build and scale communications plans across the ACLU ecosystem, and deliver innovative ideas and techniques that help brand penetration and message salience.</li>
<li>Provide strategic advice, recommendations, and insights within the Communications Marketing department and across the ACLU ecosystem that inform decision-making and drive digital success, especially in rapid response moments.</li>
<li>Provide strategic guidance and support within the Communications Marketing department and across the ACLU ecosystem about how to manage our audience’s experiences across the digital environment, and how to advance our audience up the digital engagement ladder.</li>
</ul>
<p><em><strong>Project Management</strong></em></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide Owned Digital Engagement project support – leading and monitoring the scope, communication, and progress of projects as directed by the Head of Digital Engagement.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the Web Strategy and Analytics teams to track, analyze, and report on metrics related to new projects, initiatives, and digital tools.</li>
