Talent Marketing Lead At WHOOP, we're on a mission to unlock human performance and healthspan. WHOOP empowers members to perform at a higher level through a deeper understanding of their bodies and daily lives. WHOOP is hiring a Talent Marketing Lead to define and drive how the brand shows up in culture beyond sport—shaping narratives, partnerships, and storytelling that connect performance to everyday life. Sitting within the Sports & Talent Marketing team, this role will expand WHOOP’s influence across lifestyle, wellness, entertainment, and emerging cultural spaces, translating elite performance insights into broader, culturally relevant moments that resonate with new and existing audiences. RESPONSIBILITIES: - - Define and lead WHOOP’s culture and lifestyle strategy, identifying opportunities to expand the brand’s relevance beyond traditional sports marketing - Build and activate a portfolio of talent, creators, and cultural partners across wellness, thought leadership, entertainment, business, and lifestyle verticals - Manage and strategize existing partnerships with top talent within various industries including fashion, music, medical, and wellness - Develop insight-driven narratives that translate WHOOP data, member behaviors, and talent experiences into culturally resonant storytelling - Partner cross-functionally with Product, Brand, Comms, Social, and Content teams to deliver integrated campaigns that drive awareness and engagement - Identify and lead high-impact cultural moments, partnerships, and activations that position WHOOP at the forefront of human performance and lifestyle innovation - Establish scalable frameworks for evaluating cultural impact, ensuring initiatives drive both brand equity and measurable business outcomes QUALIFICATIONS: - - 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, cultural marketing, talent strategy, or communications, ideally within a global consumer, media, or technology company - Strong track record of building culturally relevant programs, partnerships, or campaigns that extend beyond core category audiences - Experience working with talent, creators, or public figures to develop authentic, story-driven collaborations - Deep understanding of lifestyle, wellness, thought leadership, entertainment, and cultural trends, with strong instincts for what drives relevance and conversation - Ability to synthesize data, insights, and storytelling into clear strategies and compelling narratives - Proven ability to operate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across creative, product, creative, and leadership teams - Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience - Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.
