Meet the Team The Cisco Legal IT team serves as the backbone for the Legal & Compliance business units, building and maintaining the critical systems that enable Cisco to operate with integrity and efficiency. Your Impact Develop high-quality, secure software solutions that simplify complex legal processes to enhance the productivity of Cisco’s Legal & Compliance teams. Partner with cross-functional teams, including design and product management, to translate user requirements into intuitive, user-friendly applications. Apply secure coding principles to ensure the integrity and privacy of sensitive legal data across all systems. Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from initial design and coding to unit testing and production support, to ensure reliable and scalable performance. Experiment with emerging technologies like Generative AI to automate routine tasks and drive innovation in our existing software ecosystem. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. 0-1 years of professional software development experience (internships and coursework are applicable). Demonstrated understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile engineering practices. Foundational knowledge of secure coding principles and user privacy concepts. Basic understanding of CRM platform architecture and integration principles. Practical experience or academic projects involving Generative AI, LLMs, or prompt engineering. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to Salesforce CRM platform development, including familiarity with Apex or Lightning Components. Experience working effectively within cross-functional, collaborative team environments. Demonstrated commitment to user experience (UX) and design thinking principles. Why Cisco?
