Title and Summary Senior Software Engineer Overview: As a Performance Engineer you will work with your product team to optimize/test Performance of application from inception to production to maintain Product Quality matrix. Our leading-edge solutions are integrated across the enterprise and provide automated, flexible and compliant authorization methods to accelerate migration, deployment and operation of applications in the public cloud. This is a fast-paced environment providing rapid delivery for our cross-market partners. Roles and Responsibilities: • Performance Engineering/Testing of applications with focus on performance, scalability, and reusability. • Rapidly implement solutions for Development/production issues. • Setup and review SLAs for Production applications and how they can be mirrored in an Performance environment and measure against those defined SLAs • Analyze and provide performance recommendations on breached SLAs to the Function Heads. • Manage governance of performance to SLAs and ensure all systems are operating within the defined SLAs. • Develop strategies to pro-actively alert on breached SLAs during Performance Engineering. • Architect and track performance improvement actions to closure. • Develop Performance Testing strategy for implementation with a focus on automated testing, Perform Performance Testing, Investigation, RCA and Performance Optimization at Code, Config or Env level • Understand workload analysis and impact on critical business processes, forecasting analysis for capacity and growth • Lead Root Cause Analysis of production incidents and come up with short, medium and long term fixes as needed All About You • 8+ years of relevant experience in an Engineering & IT role • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent • Java Development Experience - 2-3 years • Experience with Spring boot and PCF cloud platform are highly preferred. • Very good core java development skills. • Intermediate level Oracle database knowledge with SQL writing and stored procedures experience • Experience in performance testing, tuning and analysis • Experience in Jmeter, Blazemeter or similar load testing tools • Hands on experience using monitoring solutions like Dynatrace and Splunk or equivalent observability and monitoring tools • Good Knowledge of Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP),Kafka, Redis • Exposure to thread and heap dump analysis • Exposure to Performance Optimization of Applications at Code, Database, Architecture, Network, Framework Config levels • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies, and working in Large Scale agile software development environment using SAFe framework • Experience that will set you apart – using AI tool`s to enhance monitoring, observability, and automation and improve system reliability. Using AI tools like microsoft Copilot/github copilot for coding, scripting, and automation • Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative. • Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including operations, application developers and performance testing.
