Role Overview Rocket Growth (RG) is Coupang’s fulfilment business that empowers sellers to provide customers with best-in-class delivery and post-purchase experiences. As one of Coupang’s fastest-growing teams, RG has an ambitious roadmap of innovative products and features. We are looking for driven individuals who thrive on solving complex problems and collaborating with talented peers to shape the future of e-commerce. A Staff Data Analyst works on projects related to the quality, availability, and depth of data needed by Coupang to make business decisions. This person will use their deep expertise in SQL, data ETL development, and data integrity to ensure that necessary information is available for all levels of analysis at Coupang. Additionally, this person will contribute to analytics projects designed to help drive Coupang's growth, support specific initiatives from Growth Marketing and other business units, and help less senior data analysts with their development. What You Will Do Leads projects related to the quality, availability, and depth of data needed by Coupang to make business decisions. Use their deep expertise in SQL, data ETL development, and data integrity to ensure that necessary information is available for all levels of analysis at Coupang. Contribute to analytics projects designed to help drive Coupang's growth, support specific initiatives from Growth Marketing and other business units, and help senior data analysts with their development. Own and drive critical decision-making across a range of ambiguous business problems using data. Structure and analyze large datasets, define constraints and parameters, and develop decision models. Run simulations and optimization analyses to improve business outcomes and support strategic decisions. Challenge existing processes and propose data-backed improvements. Translate insights into actionable recommendations and influence stakeholders across functions. Collaborate with diverse teams to align on goals and deliver impactful solutions. Basic Qualifications: 8+ years of relevant working experience in a data analytics role Proficiency in Excel, SQL and Python/R for data extraction, manipulation and analysis Strong knowledge of data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau or other tools) and data storytelling to communicate insights effectively to non-experts Business-level fluency in English Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data engineering tools such as GitHub and Airflow Strong knowledge of statistics, ML techniques Previous experience in e-commerce, logistics, or AdTech companies Type of work model Hybrid Our Hybrid work model: Coupang hybrid work model is designed to enable ...
