Your Impact
As an Inside Sales Manager at Axon, you will combine strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to elevate team performance and drive exceptional sales results. You will implement performance tracking systems, recognition programs, and data-driven coaching to maximize individual and collective success. You will collaborate across business functions to align sales processes with organizational goals and ensure Salesforce accuracy for informed, strategic decision-making. You will maintain a high performance culture with a high level of accountability, while ensuring your team is having fun along the way.
What You’ll Do
Location: Hybrid in Scottsdale Headquarters (Tuesday - Friday) and traveling 20% of time
Reports to: Senior Manager of Inside Sales-West
Direct Reports: 7-10 Sales Representatives (Account Executives and Inside Sales Representatives)
Meet and exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue and productivity targets.
Monitor and track Sales rep individual performance, strengths, and areas of opportunity. Clearly communicate evaluations and execute developmental steps. Coach, develop, and mentor sales reps to drive continuous improvement in sales skills and product knowledge.
Ensure activity standards are being delivered. Demonstrate clear ability to correlate activity standards with Business Results. Ensure use of Salesforce.com and accuracy of metrics.
Work with other business functions to improve the effectiveness of cross-functional processes.
Meets with each Sales rep individually for at least 1 hour monthly to review previous month’s results, lessons learned and areas for improvement. Uses this opportunity to coach Account Executives to increase results for next 30 days.
Inside Sales Managers demonstrates understanding of how to motivate employees for their reasons and understanding of how to manage a recognition and reward program for their team.
What You Bring
2+ years’ experience in an Inside Sales Management role (preferably in SaaS, Networking, Hosting, Cloud, or Telecommunications environment)
4+ years’ experience in an Inside Sales individual contributor role (preferably in SaaS, Networking, Hosting, Cloud, or Telecommunications environment)
Proficient in SalesForce, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
Ability to expect candor and join forces to execute Sales goals.
