Founded in 2016, Verkada has expanded rapidly with 15 offices and 2,200+ full-time employees. About the Role We are a small, dynamic team focused on building cloud-managed access control systems. Access Control is Verkada’s second major product line. Our Access Control solution allows users to manage their doors, schedules, and user credentials from virtually anywhere on their laptop or phone. We are building a line of embedded devices with screens, and we need an amazing UI engineer to build interfaces for these devices. You’ll have the challenge of building the kind of intuitive experiences that our customers have come to expect from our web and mobile software, but in a much more constrained hardware environment. You’ll also be helping develop a UI framework for all Verkada screen devices now and in the future. We consider our team a startup within a startup, with a fair amount of ownership and autonomy. You’ll be working alongside a dynamic team of engineers and UX designers to develop these products.
