Senior Director of Tax

Squarespace is seeking an experienced and highly motivated professional to serve as its Senior Director of Tax. You will report directly to our Chief Financial Officer and will guide our global tax structure including tax provision, tax planning and tax compliance. You will play a key role in strategic financial initiatives and lead the global tax team. You will be based out of our New York City headquarters. You'll Get To… Lead GAAP tax provision, tax reserves and related disclosures. Lead compliance (US Federal, US State and International), accounting for income taxes, technical research, process improvement, and internal controls Ensure compliance with US and international tax laws and regulations Create and execute a comprehensive tax strategy, assessing the tax impact of strategic initiatives, and driving tax decision-making Build the process and infrastructure that allows us to simulate global tax scenarios in real-time. In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive structure in addition to base salary.
