We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Developer Tooling to help us make developing with Webflow as seamless as designing in it! We are building the platform primitives, APIs, and developer tooling that turns Webflow Cloud into the fastest path from code to a successful production deployment. As part of that, you’ll help evolve Cloud to run dynamic, integrated experiences (portals, tools, workflows, and AI-powered experiences). About the role: Location: Remote-first (United States; BC ON, Canada) Full-time Permanent Exempt The cash compensation for this role is tailored to align with the cost of labor in different geographic markets. We've structured the base pay ranges for this role into zones for our geographic markets, and the specific base pay within the range will be determined by the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills. United States (all figures cited below are in USD and pertain to workers in the United States) Zone A: $158,000 - $198,000 Zone B: $149,000 - $186,000 Zone C: $139,000 - $174,000 Canada (figures cited below are in CAD and pertain to workers in ON BC, Canada) CAD $180,000 - CAD $225,000 This role is also eligible to participate in Webflow's company-wide bonus program. Target amounts are a percentage of base salary and vary by career level. Payouts are based on company performance against established financial and operational goals. Drive architectural decisions that balance scalability, security, and developer experience. Build APIs and internal systems that abstract complex infrastructure into simple, developer-friendly workflows. Implement and maintain edge compute or middleware capabilities for request handling, authentication, and response transformation. Architect reliable, scalable, and performant compute infrastructure to support high levels of parallel builds and deployments. Implement observability across the build pipeline (metrics, tracing, logging) to diagnose bottlenecks and improve system resilience. About you: Requirements: BS / BA college degree or relevant experience You’ll thrive as a Senior Software Engineer, Developer Tooling if you: Have 5+ years of experience shipping features and products Have development experience with AWS, Cloudflare, Node.js, and MongoDB Passionate about building developer platforms and tooling, especially focused on building and hosting modern web frameworks Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams Love thinking through large technical problems and working through that complexity on a collaborative, distributed team Get excited about the mission of making deploying with Webflow as seamless as de ...
