M&A Reporter

The Role: We are looking for a Reporter to join ION Analytics’ Paris Bureau covering French M&A and private equity activity for Mergermarket. The successful candidate will ideally have proven experience in a financial news reporter role, with an investigativefocus. Our new France reporter will focus on unearthing scoops and providing analysis on late-stage startups’ growth and exit strategies, and SME and family-owned business succession– with a particular focus on keyregional industries central the country’s economy: the aerospace supply chain, agrifood, wellness, luxury and retail. Fluency in French, solid writing skills in English, outstanding contact building skills and a self-starter attitude with a cooperative approach will be key for the role. The candidate will join our global network of over 350 ION Analytics journalists. You’ll work within a fast-paced team writing scoops on significant deals involving listed and private targets across France and Europe – and providing breaking news and analysis throughout the deal cycle.
