Head of Rider, Taiwan Mobility Department: Operations Team: Local Operations Location: Taipei City, Taiwan (ROC) Type: Full-Time **About the Role** We are looking for an individual who has strong operational and analytical skills, as well as strategic business sense to lead our Taiwan Core Rider team for the mobility business. In this role, you will lead our rider operations and work with diverse local and regional teams in coming up with initiatives to drive growth and operational efficiencies that can make a big impact and change the way people move in Taiwan! **Your Impact in Role** - **Business Sense**: Lead consumer and products business performance, owning operational and financial data and driving analysis to make critical business decisions. Understand interdependencies across functions, and incorporate the short and long-term trade-offs into business decisions. - **Rider strategy ownership**: Work with executive leadership to set Taiwan rider strategy and lead important, often sophisticated, areas of strategy. Keep the team motivated by explaining big-picture context for these strategic efforts, communicate top-down vision, and translate broader strategy into goals specific to the Core Rider team. - **Problem Solving:** Seek issues that involve people, things, and processes by using logic, common sense, and data, and lead different teams in the search for solutions to these issues. Identify the root cause of a problem, as opposed to focusing on the symptoms - **Process optimization:** Help your team identify core analyses and processes, optimize them, and lead implementation across Taiwan, regularly reviewing performance. - **Product Improvement**: Demonstrating team's insights, develop, propose, and stand up for the features or improvements that could improve the experience on and efficiency for riders in Taiwan.
