Senior Finance Systems Analyst - Adaptive Planning

The opportunity Join Unity as an Adaptive Planning (Workday) Senior Finance System Analyst in Bangalore to play a critical role in driving decision making across the company. This role is essential to our global support model, providing the system knowledge needed to turn our strategic roadmap into reality. You will be responsible for the hands-on development, deployment, and operational support of solutions primarily within Adaptive Planning. Working in close coordination with the Adaptive Planning Lead, you will play a key part in the design, build and optimization of models that support our FPA teams.This is a hybrid position based in our Bangalore office. General working hours for this role will be 2pm-11pm IST during the weekdays. What you'll be doing Focus on the hands-on development and configuration of solutions within Adaptive Planning, including building models, creating reports, and configuring integrations. Develop and maintain integrations between Adaptive Planning and internal data sources, ensuring a seamless flow of accurate data Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to design and manage interactive dashboards in Adaptive Planning, translating complex data into clear, visual stories. Provide rapid-response financial modeling and ad-hoc analysis to support departmental decision-making and strategic planning Provide timely and effective technical support for our FPA applications during offshore hours, managing a ticket queue and resolving user-reported issues. Collaborate daily with the US-based Adaptive Lead to receive and clarify work priorities, ensuring tight alignment with project goals. Participate actively in all phases of the agile software development lifecycle, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Stay up to date with Adaptive Planning product releases and features, rolling them out timely to the team Assist with developing training materials for end-users on Adaptive Planning models and processes. Maintain comprehensive documentation of model design, processes, and data flows What we're looking for 3-5 years of hands-on development or implementation experience with Adaptive Planning is required. Solid understanding of core software development principles and a passion for building quality solutions. A proactive and collaborative mindset, with excellent English communication skills and a proven ability to work effectively as part of a global team. Self-starter with capacity to work independently while managing multiple projects and tasks Problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of delivering data-driven solutions that drive business impact You might also have Adaptive Planning Certified Working knowledge of LLM's and Implemented AI /robotic tools to reduce manual effort in the Finance space Additional information Relocation support is not available for this position.
