Meet the Team You will join the Silicon Strategy & Portfolio Management team —the technical and strategic engine room behind Cisco’s hardware innovation. We are a high-impact group of Marchitects who bridge the gap between long-term market disruption and immediate silicon architecture. Our team is responsible for the strategic roadmap of Cisco Silicon One and our broader SoC portfolio, ensuring we power everything from the world’s largest service providers to the next generation of AI-driven data centers. Your Impact You will lead systematic market-driven silicon portfolio analysis of Cisco’s silicon and define requirements that drive portfolio-level differentiations, increase product reuse, and expand addressable markets. Lead portfolio optimization initiatives to increase cross-product reuse and simplicity. Drive cross-product differentiation initiatives with PLMs, system architecture, and software at a total network level. Define building block requirements that maximize development efficiency and analyze TAM coverage for smart segmentation. Own competitive portfolio analysis and synthesize mega-trends into portfolio-level requirements. Establish portfolio governance, trade-off forums, and decision logs while publishing periodic roadmap packages. Deliver measurable improvements in building‑block reuse and cross‑product differentiation, enabling scalability and efficiency across complex product lines. Team player leader who leads through collaboration and influence. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 12 years in product/portfolio management within the networking or silicon industry. Experience translating market needs into architecture‑level requirements, driving roadmap decisions across switching/routing layers, product portfolios, network processors, traffic management, and emerging networking software trends. Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing silicon portfolios spanning from entry access routers to hyperscaler AI switching SoCs. Prior experience influencing and aligning cross‑functional stakeholders to drive successful roadmap planning cycles, ensuring on‑time delivery and operational rigor.
