About the Role
Due to our continued growth, we are looking for talented individuals to join our Digital Sales organization in India. As a Business Development Representative (BDR) , you will help grow Splunk’s enterprise and mid-market business by partnering closely with Sales to generate high-quality opportunities across existing customers and new prospects.

Account-Based Strategy
Unlock the full potential of your accounts by building pipeline, creating account plans, and executing targeted engagement strategies.
Territory Planning
Learn how to effectively manage a territory — conducting research, segmenting accounts into strategic clusters, and building new relationships within each segment.
Ecosystem Navigation
Develop strong networking skills and a deep understanding of the customer buying journey by working closely with Sales, SEs, and Marketing, while sharpening your storytelling and presentation skills.
What You’ll Do
Execute prospecting plays aligned with Splunk’s priorities and tailored to specific accounts or territories
Partner with Sales to create pipeline across assigned regions in India
Design and run campaigns by leveraging Splunk’s campaign library in collaboration with Sales and Marketing
Identify initiatives and projects within assigned accounts, articulate why they matter, and position how Splunk delivers value
Minimum Qualifications
3 years of experience in sales development, inside sales, or pipeline generation for SaaS or technology solutions
Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Experience with Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
Shown ability to map solutions to customer challenges and deliver measurable outcomes
Experience managing a sales pipeline and coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders
Strong account planning skills, including identifying decision-makers and tailoring engagement strategies
Ability to deliver concise, compelling value propositions to prospects
Strong prospecting skills, using industry knowledge and market intelligence to secure initial meetings
Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced sales environment
Collaboration skills across customers, partners, and internal teams
Effective time management and ability to work independently
A solution-oriented mindset — you proactively address challenges and find ways forward
Confident, credible communicator with a professional presence
Language Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Additional Indian languages (e.g., Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, etc.) are a plus
