About This Role The Director of Manufacturing serves as the strategic site leader for our design/build manufacturing facility in Brighton, CO. In this executive capacity, you are responsible for the total health of the plant, ensuring that our bespoke, integrated modular infrastructure projects are delivered with precision. While your primary engine is production, you will provide executive oversight and dotted-line leadership across Quality, Inventory/Supply Chain, Project Management, and Engineering to ensure a unified operational strategy. You will bridge the gap between high-level corporate goals and shop-floor execution, leveraging Lean and Six Sigma to scale operations in a complex, custom-engineered environment. What You'll Be Working On - Total Site Leadership: Leads overall manufacturing execution for modular manufacturing operations, unifying support functions across Quality, Warehouse, and PMO under a single operational vision to drive performance and accountability across the facility. - Safety Leadership: Champion a "Safety First" culture by overseeing the development, implementation, and enforcement of safety procedures and best practices across all departments. Ensure the facility exceeds OSHA and ISO standards, driving accountability at every level of the organization. - Operational Excellence: Oversee daily production, optimizing workflows to maximize throughput and minimize downtime while ensuring consistent product quality. Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement in a low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing environment. - Quality and Compliance: Ensure all products meet rigorous quality standards and maintain full audit readiness. Oversee corrective action processes and lead the facility through ISO 9001, NEMA, and NEC compliance reviews. - Budget & Cost Control: Own the plant P&L and manage operational budgets (Opex/Capex), including staffing, materials, and equipment procurement. Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives to drive margin improvement and financial performance. - Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing manufacturing team across all disciplines.
