This role will play a critical part in enabling the successful separation of Medtronic’s Diabetes business by leading a complex, cross-functional program with significant operational and supply chain scope. The role is responsible for managing the Order-to-Cash (OTC) separation across assigned geographies and will serve as a key member of the Separation Management Office (SMO) as Medtronic executes the separation of the Diabetes business. This individual will partner closely with counterparts from the MiniMed separation team and with enabling functions across Medtronic to ensure coordinated execution and continuity of operations through separation. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Lead and drive a cross‑functional program to support the separation of Medtronic’s Diabetes business, with accountability for planning, execution, and delivery of key operational milestones. Lead Order-to-Cash (O2C) separation activities across assigned geographies, ensuring operational readiness and continuity of commercial and supply chain processes through separation milestones. Lead Procure-to-Pay (P2P) separation activities, including assessing current-state processes, defining the future-state operating model, and executing the transition of purchasing, vendor management, invoicing, and payment processes to ensure business continuity and compliance throughout the separation. Develop and manage integrated program plans spanning multiple workstreams, including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning, Distribution, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, IT, Legal, and Commercial Operations. Direct day‑to‑day activities across matrixed teams by managing scope, timelines, resourcing, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure successful execution. Provide program leadership for Supply Chain–related separation activities, including manufacturing operations, inventory, planning, distribution, supplier transitions, and continuity of product supply. Establish and maintain program governance, including decision forums, escalation paths, and status reporting. Identify, assess, and actively manage program risks and issues; develop mitigation strategies and drive timely resolution. Partner closely with functional and business leaders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, operational requirements, and regulatory obligations. Establish meaningful metrics and dashboards to track program progress, readiness, and performance across workstreams. Support readiness for key milestones (e.g., separation readiness, TSA execution, stabilization), while maintaining business continuity. Prepare and deliver clear, concise updates for senior leadership and program stakeholders. Coordinate with internal teams, counterpart separation teams, and external advisors to ensure integrated execution across the broader separation program. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Business Development, Finance, Operations, or a related field (or 5 years with an advanced degree).
