In your role, you may work any Medtronic site, including: • Mounds View, Minnesota • Fort Worth, Texas • Fridley, Minnesota (OHQ) • Lafayette, Colorado • Irvine, California (UCI) • Memphis, Tennessee • Rice Creek, Minnesota • Jacksonville, Florida • Boston, Massachusetts The Security Engineering Manager serves a key member of the Global Cyber Information Security strategic leadership team and will act as a consensus builder, problem solver, and team leader for the overall security organization. The Manager, Security Engineering, has a critical role that requires an individual with a strong technical background as well as innate understanding of balancing security requirements with business objectives. Manager, Security Engineering will act as an empowered team member with the CISO during planning and design initiatives to ensure security measures are incorporated into the global strategy and priorities are clearly understood/defined. Key activities include: • Develop, implement, and oversee the company's network security and security architecture, driving forward a cyber security roadmap (tools, technologies, methodologies) with the goal of reducing enterprise risk. • Drive a cross-organization security strategy, with a shift-left approach, to ensure security is effectively integrated from software design and through release. • Drive innovation in new methods and approaches to security architecture.
