We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Principal Product Specialist to manage our Vascular Portfolio. This role will guide and align marketing initiatives across stakeholders in the territory, ensuring consistency with regional and global strategy while adapting to local market dynamics. This is a hybrid role based in São Paulo, Brazil, with 50% of the time allocated to travel. This is a Principal role, which means you will hold a leadership position without having direct reports.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Serve as a strategic partner to sales teams, offering clear guidance, actionable insights, and tactical support, as well as cultivating and sustaining strong relationships with vascular surgeons, medical societies, and Key Opinion Leaders
Ensure brand consistency and message alignment across the country by leading campaigns that boost product visibility, generate demand, and create new business opportunities, while continuously evaluating performance and providing strategic recommendations for future initiatives
Collaborate with Regional Marketing to adapt product launches, promotional content, and educational initiatives to regional needs and cultural nuances, while partnering closely with Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, and other internal stakeholders to ensure flawless execution and market capture possibilities.
Lead and coordinate the development and execution of local marketing plans aligned with the regional and global OU strategy, overseeing the full product lifecycle, from launch to phase-out, while conducting competitive analysis, market research, pricing ad positioning strategy, and ensuring clear communication across sales channels
Identifies unmet customer requirements and new business opportunities and provides vision and focus to move products from idea to marketplace, supporting Sales Training, Medical Education, and Clinical Affairs to design and deliver training programs for internal teams, healthcare professionals, and distributors, and in charge to budgeting and comply to annual policies and assumptions.
Ensure strategic alignment and execution thru sales teams, to grant tactical and action plans towards business objectives. Close to FP&A management to achieve finance targets such as margins and op profit.
Plan and support scientific workshops, congresses, seminars, and other key events, providing technical and exhibition support, and contributing to budgeting, logistics, and on-site execution
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Completed bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Marketing, Business, Communications, engineering or Life Sciences.
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in marketing, or strategic roles. Portfolio Management skills/MBA in marketing will be a differentiator.
Advanced proficiency in English is required; fluency in Spanish and Portuguese is considered a strong asset.
Valid and up-to-date CNH B driver’s license
